Para um mundo sustentável
A Terra é um planeta maravilhoso, com muito para explorar e uma natureza incrível! Porém, o ser humano (pelo menos grande parte) lentamente consome e devasta nossa casa, acabando com a vida de muitas espécies, incluindo a nossa. Também existem muitos problemas sociais e econômicos a serem resolvidos para que todos vivam com igualdade e sustentabilidade.
Por isso, a ONU (Organização das Nações Unidas) criou a agenda 2030 (ODS), que inclui 17 problemas que devem ser resolvidos até 2030. Um deles é cuidar e restaurar sistemas terrestre e a biodiversidade, algo muito importante para que tudo funcione na Terra.
Muitas pessoas, ambientalistas, pacifistas e outros trabalham duro para resolver a situação atual e, como Greta Thunberg, Inger Andersen, Chico Mendes e tantos outros que lutaram, ou lutam, devem inspirar-nos todo dia a pregar por um mundo melhor. Ainda há tempo de agir!
Se todos os dias pensarmos em sermos sustentáveis e ajudar a Terra a restaurar sua paz, e se todos trabalharem juntos, com solidariedade e cidadania, conseguiremos cumprir nossa meta: um mundo sustentável!

We have a dream
Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech is a famous talk he gave in 1963. It was during a big event that he talked about his dream of a world where everyone is treated equally, regardless of their skin color.
One of the things that makes the speech powerful is how it connects with people’s feelings. King starts by saying “I have a dream,” which he repeats throughout the speech. This phrase gives hope and shows his vision for a better future. He describes a country where people are judged by who they are inside, not by how they look.
King also uses some clever writing tricks to make his speech more memorable. He repeats certain phrases, like “now is the time” and “let freedom ring,” to make his point stronger. He also lists different problems faced by African Americans, which shows how big the challenges are.
Another aspect about his speech is how King draws our attention to important American achievements like the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. He uses these documents to remind people that America should treat everyone equally, as it promised to do.
Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech is a milestone about equality and justice. It continues to inspire people today, and it played a big role in the civil rights movement.
